In this short term contract I was responsible for assisting Silkwood School make a smooth transition from SharePoint List forms to InfoPath 2010 Forms and Workflow. I was also responsible for designing a solution to host an Internet facing SharePoint website with Forms Based Authentication.

In this 6 month contract role I assisted QIC with an upgrade of their existing SharePoint 2007 environment to SharePoint 2010 virtual environments consisting of Development, Test and Production.

This will include:

– Migrating content databases including Nintex;

– Customisations, third party products like Nintex, Bamboo, Muhimbi, SLAM;

– Testing;

– Custom web part migration and InfoPath Forms.

SharePoint and MS Project 2007.

Employed as SharePoint Application Specialist and working directly with other team members to assure comprehensive, efficient and timely management of projects. Also included, but not limited to, project assessment and initiation, implementation and tracking, resolving project problems/issues, and act as the primary conduit for new projects and new work on existing projects.

– Customizing SharePoint sites, creating Web Parts, Masterpages, Page Layouts, Site Definitions, Content Types, Workflows, Wikis, and List Templates with SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio.

– Designed and implemented a new Project Server Workspace Template in SharePoint with forms and escalating workflows to revamp the old paper work process to a collaborative electronic process.

– Programming workflows that support Serial/Parallel execution, Send email notifications, enable Timeouts and Escalations, Delegation of task to peers etc

– Working with communication tools like Announcements, Discussion boards, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Project Tasks, Surveys, Issue Tracking etc

– Designing InfoPath forms, form templates, template parts, master-detail forms

– Using CAML to query list and filter data in Web parts

– Deploy new solutions and troubleshoot issues in SharePoint 2007.

– Design and deploy SQL Server 2005 Reports to the SharePoint website.

– Create Event Receivers to track and save any new records added to a list or changes made to an existing list, to a SQL Server database table.

– Mentor staff including the Manager on SharePoint best practices.
